The next day we saw Paris' most famous sites: the Opera, Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Elysees, Notre Dame Cathedral, The Louvre, Palace of Versailles, and we also went through the tunnel where Princess Diana was killed. They have the column that the crash happened at marked and we tried to get pictures, but it was dark and we were in a fast moving bus so they didn't turn out...but outside of the tunnel they have a giant torch that was there before the crash, but since then has kind of become a memorial to Princess Diana, they have fresh flowers around it most of the time and we also saw the restaurant/hotel that she had just left when she was chased into the tunnel. Paris is full of history, just like all of Europe, but Paris, London, and Edinburgh had lots of fascinating history about all the Kings and Queens which was fun to learn about and also when we went through the castles and palaces we were able to see where they lived and slept and that was absolutely amazing! More to come on the awesome history in London & Edinburgh!
